Words from the President of Rich Endeed
My name is Joette Doyle. I am a single mother of four amazing children. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and a member of the Plainfield District 202 School Board. In June of 2018, I opened a micro pantry in Plainfield to help our community members in need. Since that time, I have had so many community members reach out to me for more than just food. I soon recognized another big need in our community. For the past several years, I have volunteered at a mission called Our Caring Closet in Wilmington. This inspired me to open something similar in Plainfield. RichEnDeed is a not-for-profit corporation that provides a place for our community to help each other. We all have things we no longer need or want that others could desperately use.
RichEnDeed is dedicated to and named after my late father, Richard E. Doyle. My father was a man of integrity, wisdom and optimism. He never judged anyone and he was always ready to help others in need. He taught me to be grateful for what I have, to work hard and be honest. RichEnDeed is built on the foundation of integrity, optimism and gratitude. Everyone is welcome at RichEnDeed.
Donate Today
We accept donations of gently-used clothing and household goods on Saturdays from noon until 3 pm and Sundays from 9 am until noon. Please be sure items are in good condition, free from stains, rips, pet hair, cigarette and marijuana smoke. We are not accepting toy donations at this time. Please be sure books and games and puzzles are intact with all working pieces/parts. It is very helpful if items are labeled by size as we are staffed by a small amount of generous volunteers and it is our goal to make items available for others as soon as possible.
Thank you in advance for supporting the mission of Rich Endeed!
